Jim has been a Licensed Life and Health Agent since 2009. He has active licenses in California and Texas. Jim has been a Medicare agent for 4 years. His favorite part of his jobs is helping others.

As an agent, Jim can walk his clients through the different parts of Medicare, and what their options are for coverage. By going through the items that are important to his clients – doctors, specific health concerns, prescription medications, travel or living in different areas of the state or country, etc. – he can help his clients confidently make the choice of the most appropriate plan to meet their needs.

Bridlewood Agent

Amber Ramirez was born and raised in Ramona, which is where her office is located. Amber’s stepfather opened the agency alongside her mother in 1971, and the family owned and run agency has been on the same street corner for 54 years.

In 2004, when Amber first started out as a Farmers agent, she started with zero policies while her mother had about 800. In 2006, her mother fully retired and Amber purchased the agency. Since taking it over, Amber has more than doubled the size of her number of clients, with 800 policies having grown into about 2,500.  Amber attributes a lot of that success and growth to the marketing and networking that she does in the community. Amber has been a Chamber Director for 15 years and she has been part of the Ramona Rotary Club since 2005, along with being the president of Rotary in 2013-2014.  Amber understands the importance of community and knows that Ramonans has never failed to support one another. That is one thing she loves – helping so many people in her own hometown.

Sergio holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. He has worked for over 20 year’s in the Financial Services industry, the last six years have been working exclusively in Medicare insurance. During his tenure, Sergio earned the Gold Club award for production his first year in the insurance industry. Because of his high production numbers, he has been invited to participate in achievement level conferences in Dallas, Las Vegas and Phoenix. He also was promoted to an Agent Manager position in 2017, where he has developed a highly-trained, caring team of Medicare professionals.

Sergio offers all Medicare plans types – Supplements, Advantage plans and Prescription Drug plans – but his specialty are Medi/Medi plans, designed for those individuals in who have both Medicare and Medicaid (Medi-Cal). He began his career with Bridlewood several years ago, and the partnership has solidified his commitment to serving primarily the Medicare market. Bridlewood’s initiative and resources help his client have a great experience. Sergio loves placing clients in the best plan possible, while answering all their questions and getting to learn about their lives.

Being born and raised in sunny Southern California, Sergio has served in both the Navy and Air Force, for a total of nine years. He enjoys the outdoors and loves spending time with family.

Medicare Agent

Janis partnered with Bridlewood in 2016 and has over 18 years of experience in the insurance industry.

Janis has a passion for helping others. Her heart is dedicated to helping seniors understand Medicare and their options.  Doing what is best for her clients is what she is committed to in this industry. Her intention, integrity, and passion comes from raising her special needs son.
Besides her 18-year-old son, Janis has three daughters and one granddaughter.  Her oldest is daughter is 29 years old, and her youngest are 16-year-old identical twins.  Janis loves living an active and healthy lifestyle.  She enjoys the beach, running, hiking, cycling, being outdoors, and, most of all, spending time with her children.

Valerie received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Redlands.  She has spent 31 years working in upper management for the United States Postal Service. As she is getting closer to retiring from the USPS, she decided she wanted to find a new job to fill her days, and since she enjoys working with people of all ages, but especially seniors, she decided to get her Insurance license and become a Medicare agent.  Val heard a lot of positive things about Bridlewood Insurance which led her to begin her journey with them.  She is eager to build lasting relationships with her clients, as she helps guide them through Medicare and their choices for supplemental insurance.

Val is originally from Santa Monica.  She then moved to Thousand Oaks for her High School years, and then came to San Diego for college. She and her husband, John, lived in Poway for 18 years and then Rancho Bernardo for a short time, before moving to Escondido in 2018.  She and John were  married in 1986 and have 2 children Amanda and Matt and their dogs Stella and Molly. When she has time off, you can find Val in her garden, or enjoying scrapbooking and other various crafts.

Medicare Agent

Clara was born in Panama and is married to Vicente Gill, also of Panama and USN Retired. We are active members of Mission Hills Church, in San Marcos, CA. My husband and I have two adult sons and four beautiful grandchildren. My granddaughters enjoy tea parties, and my grandsons enjoy exploring the backyard. I enjoy reading, gardening, travel, and spending precious time with our grands. I am fluent in English and Spanish. My favorite TV shows are anything HGTV and The Good Doctor. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.

Over the past 25 years, I’ve worked in mortgage servicing and retail banking, and since 1999, in financial services. I focus on retirement strategies, and maximizing the financial component of “quality of life” in retirement.
Although health coverage was an important part of my practice, I referred my clients for their Medicare needs. Today I see the value of helping senior adults obtain the right coverage at any age because Medicare is an important part of that “quality of life” in retirement, and an important service for me to provide.

My clients have come to expect warm personal attention, and professional, suitable advice. My desire is to give independent and unbiased recommendations, make available a variety of products, and provide the best service possible. My greatest satisfaction comes from the success of each client and the long-term relationship we develop.

Norma attended school in Escondido, and received her Early Childhood Certificate from Palomar College. She got married at 18 and started a family. Her home and 4 kid’s were a full time job and she loved every minute of it.  She has also worked in sales all her life. Nordstrom, was where she was taught customer service.  In addition, she has worked with nutritional based companies, but feels she found her true calling when she was introduced to Medicare sales. Norma believes her exceptional customer service is her strongest asset, as she truly cares about each of her clients and they know it.  She began her Medicare career at Bridlewood Insurance because she values that they offer their agents great support, and she has come to know that their road to success is clear and proven.  They are dedicated to their agent’s success.

Norma really enjoys seeing her clients truly understand Medicare and it’s many options after they meet.  Matching her clients to their best possible plan gives her great satisfaction.  She loves to hear their life stories and backgrounds.

Born in Canada, Norma lived in Holland growing up.  She moved to Escondido, California in 1964.  She and her husband Michael have been married for 49 years, and share 4 children and 9 grandchildren.  Norma’s hobbies are gardening and hummingbirds.  Her family loves the coast and take advantage of the beautiful southern California scenery as much as possible. When they do travel, it is primarily to see family in Oregon and Tennessee.  They are also very involved in the North Coast Church in San Marcos.

Heather, a California Girl born and raised​​, grew up in the small town of Ramona​. After graduating from Montecito High School in 2006, ​​she pursued ​a Real Estate ​Career and joined Keller Williams Realty and tried her luck at Real Estate for 5 Years.

In 2014, Heather made the best decision of her life and switched careers, selling insurance.  She truly feels that this is her passion, and she has had the best trainer and mentor helping me every step of the way – her dad, Jay Gray. ​It is very rewarding ​being able to ​work ​together and spend time growing their business as a team. Her dad has shortened her learning curve tremendously, as he has been helping people throughout Southern California with their insurance for over 15 years, and he knows all the do’s and don’ts.   Heather specializes in taking the time to help her clients find a plan that fits their needs and budget for Medicare, Health and Life Insurance.  She really enjoy working with seniors, and takes great satisfaction in assisting them through this confusing process.   She loves being able to offer home appointments or virtual appointments, to explain and answer all their questions with regard to their preferred doctors, hospitals and prescription drugs.  Heather represents most of the major Medicare carriers and can help guide her clients to the appropriate plan, based on their medical and financial concerns.
In 2009, Heather had her son Kaden, who is a spunky little redhead that keeps her on her toes. He definitely​ is growing up way too fast, and has her laughing a lot. Heather loves music and enjoys going to concerts, Mexican food, going to winery’s and hanging out with friends and family! She also loves the flexibility of being her own boss and being able to make her own schedule.  She says she can’t imagine her life any other way.
