Jay graduated from the University of Iowa in 2007. He has worked in the insurance industry for over a decade, and has specialized in Medicare since 2018. He is contracted with all the major carriers in the area and offers a full range of products and services to his clients, including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplements, Special Needs Plans, Medicare/Medicaid plans, Low Income Subsidy, and Veterans Plans.
Jay decided to focus solely on Medicare because he realized how big of a demand there was for someone who can simplify the process, as well as educate and help seniors with their Medicare planning. Jay was eager to join Bridlewood’s team of agents, due to their vision, leadership and support. They operate with great integrity, and always keep the client’s needs as their top priority. His favorite part of his job is sitting at a client’s kitchen table, getting to know more about them and their family, and helping them take the guesswork out of the entire process so they do not feel confused or overwhelmed. He loves helping them find the right plan that suits their needs, as well as their budget.
Jay has lived in Eastern Iowa all his life. He was born in Iowa City, and raised in a small town called What Cheer. He now lives in Marengo with his wife Nikki, and 3 sons – Ayson, Jaxen and Declan. In his free time he loves spending time with his family and friends. Their family can almost always be found outdoors, whether it’s camping, kayaking, hiking or fishing. He also loves watching sports, and is a lifelong Hawkeye fan.

Gregory is from Newburgh, N.Y. and now resides in Kinderhook, N.Y. He received a B.A. Chemistry (1982) from SUNY College at New Paltz, a M.S. Education in (1985), and attended a C.A.S School for Finance(1995). Gregory also attended Cornell School of Industrial and Labor Relations for the Certificate Program in Labor Relations- Collective Bargaining (2006) and Bryant Stratton – Property and Casualty Licensing Program (2012).
Gregory worked as a public-school science teacher for 22 years. He also spent 12 years with the public-school as a Business Administrator/Asst. Superintendent. He was a New York Life Insurance Company Agent/Registered Representative for 3 years and worked as an Independent Insurance Agent/Agency Owner for Property, Casualty, Life, and Health for 11 years.
Approximately 5 years ago, Bridlewood Insurance was highly recommended Gregory by another Bridlewood Agent. His favorite part of the job is getting to help clients identify their insurance needs and then work to bring forth solutions that make sense and are affordable to service those needs.
Gregory and his wife Robin have been married for 11 years. They have one granddaughter, a feline Veronica. He enjoys cooking, traveling, and amateur radio.
Joe has been helping people make confident and informed decisions about their Health and Life Insurance options since 2013. Prior to health insurance, Joe co-founded and operated an e-commerce business in the vintage and designer clothing field. He also worked for over a decade in the Retirement Plan Design and Administration field.
A life-long San Diegan, Joe loves spending time in the outdoors with his family: wife Lisa, daughter Astrid, and son Ian.
Joe is also passionate about football and has coached at the youth and high school level in Ramona as an Offensive Line and Wide Receivers coach.
Jill was born and raised in Rochester, MN and currently reside in a small suburb of Rochester. Jill and her husband Jeff Fasbender were high school sweethearts and married after 5 years of dating. They have been married now for 22 years and have one daughter; Samantha who is 6 years old. They also have a spicy little Chihuahua named Pedro.
Jill received her BA Communication Studies and AA General Studies. She has her Property/Casualty, Life/Health and Series 6 and 63 Licensed. Jill has over 20 years in the insurance industry and has earned several awards and trips over her career.
Jill loves being a resource to her clients about all their Medicare questions. They are all so grateful for the assistance and truly appreciate the help she can provide.

Larry Roberts attended West Marshall High School and graduated from Waldorf College. Larry had an extensive sales background before becoming a Medicare agent. What surprised him most about Medicare sales, is that he really isn’t selling anything, he is helping seniors solve a problem – making sure they had the best health care coverage for their particular needs. Larry specializes in Medicare Advantage and Low Income Subsidy plans. He joined Bridlewood Insurance because he wanted to be able to offer all the different carrier’s products to his clients, so that they truly have the most appropriate plan.
Larry enjoys meeting new people and being able to educate and guide them through the Medicare process. He is also the Regional Director of Sales for Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Nebraska, and manages a terrific team of agents.
Larry is from State Center and currently resides in Ankeny, IA. He has been married for 15 years to his beautiful wife, Deb, and has 4 children and 4 grandchildren. Larry has been involved in coaching for over 20 years and has enjoyed playing 16″ recreational softball for close to 40 years, but as of right now he is trying to spend as much as time as he can with his grandkids and has started to golf a lot more. He enjoys golf and the fact that his body seems to recover quicker from golfing than softball!
Deb’s focus is on helping seniors with their Medicare Advantage plans, and also specializes in helping people who have both Medicare and Medicaid (Medi/Medi). The Medicare business is a family dynamic – her stepson worked for UnitedHealthcare and recruited her husband, Larry Roberts, as an internal agent with UnitedHealthcare. As Larry’s business grew, he added Deb’s son, Zeb Christensen, as an agent, along with other people who were looking for a fun and challenging new career. When they met Jeff Wetzel from Bridlewood Insurance, both Larry and Zeb decided to join this fast-growing, Medicare specific agency. Soon, they were both prompting Deb to join, as well. Since she already loved helping people and building long-term relationships, Medicare was an easy shift.
Deb had more than 17 years experience in the hospitality industry, in a variety of sales and consumer-focused roles, including event coordinator and sales, corporate sale and association sales, prior to entering into the Medicare field. She is licensed with the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission (IRGC) and was awarded the 2015 Iowa Lodging Association Employee of the Year.
Deb grew up in Exira, Iowa. With a population of 900 people, her parents were well known in the community, and operated a successful fertilizer plant for more than 20 years. She and her dad also owned and managed a greenhouse business for a number of years. After meeting Larry, he and Deb moved to central Iowa, where three of their combined 4 children graduated. They now reside in a beautiful home in Ankeny, and have been there for 5 years. She and Larry have been married for 17 years, and with their blended family of two kids each, they now enjoy 5 grandchildren together – Aiden, Lainey, Hanes, Beau and Elodie. She enjoys reading, golfing and spending time with their family.

Zeb graduated from Dana College in Blair, NE with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. He has been working with Medicare for just over a year, and in that short time has assisted many seniors with their Medicare options. He joined Bridlewood because of their reputation for educating and taking care of their clients and agents. Zeb loves the vision and drive that the team of agents he works with, has. He loves working with people and enjoys helping seniors learn about Medicare and choosing the right plan based on their health and prescription needs.
Zeb is a homegrown Iowa boy (GO CYCLONES!) He was fortunate enough to play college basketball at Dana College. Then his path took an interesting turn, when he and his friends started a rock band. They had the opportunity to travel across the country for roughly seven years, playing their own music every night. Being the purist that he is, Zeb and his bandmates refused to play covers of other people’s songs. It was a thrill knowing that fans could listen to their music on radio stations all over the world. Music, sports and helping others, have always been Zeb’s passion!
My name is Melody – I am a licensed Health Insurance Broker in Minnesota. I became a Bridlewood Agent Summer of 2021 because I felt like they genuinely care about the people they serve. I look forward to connecting with people with limited income and members
of underserved communities to educate them on the Medicare options available to them. My favorite part of working with Medicare is providing information and connecting with people to promote self-confidence and empower them to make sound decisions to meet their healthcare needs.
I have been fortunate to live in several different parts of Minnesota. I am originally from Duluth and grew up on a hobby farm. I attended college in Marshall and lived there for 5 years. I spent a year in the Fairmont area before meeting my husband Erik and moving to the Twin Cities. My husband Erik and I have been together since 2009. He asked me to dance the first time I met him, and I ran off the dance floor. Our friends decided to play matchmaker one year later and set us up at a Twins game. Fortunately, the Twins game was a much better connection! We got married in Hawaii in 2013. We have two children, a six-year-old daughter and a four-year-old son.
My family and I enjoy traveling, especially taking road trips around Minnesota and neighboring states. We are avid sports fans and enjoy watching all of our favorite MN teams. My husband is an NDSU graduate, so we’re also big Bison fans.
I am also an avid reader and enjoy volunteering at my children’s school.
Arlene has resided in Minnesota for about 50 years. She has moved around but has stayed in Waterville most of the time. She has her Bachelor of Science in Business and worked at a public school for almost 25 years as a Business Manager.
Arlene started working with Bridlewood in the fall of 2017. She enjoys the business because of how rewarding it can be. She likes to help people and help them understand Medicare Insurance. Her favorite part of the job is helping others find the best policy. She is all about helping the person.
Arlene has been with her husband, Don, for over 20 years now. They have grandchildren in California, Idaho, and Utah as well. She enjoys traveling with Don to visit family and seeing many of the National Parks.
