I was born in Mexico City; I moved to Colorado nearly 30 years ago to provide my children with greater opportunities and a better quality of life. While raising my daughters as a single mother, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in literature from the University of Colorado Boulder, with minors in both Business and Italian Literature. After spending six months living in Italy, I returned to the United States in 2019, searching for a place where I could grow professionally, serve my Spanish-speaking community, and find the support and flexibility I needed to live my best life. Bridlewood has given me all of that!

My journey into healthcare began with a personal challenge: helping my mother and grandmother navigate the complexities of the U.S. health insurance system. Their limited English and unfamiliarity with insurance made it incredibly difficult for them to understand their options, and I often stepped in to interpret and explain benefits. This experience opened my eyes to a much larger need and inspired my mission: to guide Spanish-speaking individuals through the Medicare process so they can make confident, informed decisions about their health.

For the past twelve years, I’ve worked in the healthcare industry — first as a Community Navigator and, since 2019, as a licensed Medicare agent.

Today, my daughters are grown and thriving. My eldest, Karla, is happily married with two young children—Juliette and Arlo—who bring endless joy to my life. My younger daughter, Christina, lives in Washington, D.C. where she runs her own catering business. We make it a point to visit one another several times a year.

Now in Denver, I’ve called Boulder home for over 20 years and love everything it has to offer — especially hiking in the foothills with my grandkids. Whenever the opportunity arises, I’m always ready to travel and immerse myself in new countries and cultures. It’s this blend of community, family, purpose, and exploration that keeps me grounded and inspired.
