Laura spent her childhood in Whittier, CA until the age of 15 when her family made the significant move to Portland, OR. This has been Laura’s home throughout her adult years.  Following high school, Laura enrolled in a community college while simultaneously maintaining full-time employment. She had a strong desire to embrace adulthood and embark on an independent journey. Her father’s influence on work ethic, principles, and good old fashioned hard work have been significant with her drive to succeed over the years. Laura seized business opportunities to assume various roles, dedicating herself to learning from the ground up. These experiences served as valuable building blocks, enabling her to leverage her knowledge and skills for promotions into higher positions.

Laura feels incredibly fortunate to have found her husband and soulmate, John. They have been together for 11 years and are the proud parents of four adult children, each of whom is flourishing in their own life pursuits. While they eagerly await the arrival of future grandchildren, their home is currently filled with the joyful presence of four furry companions – two dogs and two cats.

Laura and John share a deep passion for traveling, with a particular fondness for Italy that holds a special place in their hearts. Additionally, they find immense joy in the art of cooking, savoring fine wines, indulging in music, tending to their yard and garden, spending quality time with their beloved animals, entertaining, and eagerly plotting new travel escapades.
