Belita offers many Medicare products but specializes in Medicare Advantage, Medicare Prescription Plans and Medicare Supplement Plans. She wants to get to know her clients and be helpful to them, a guide, a resource and a friend, to help them along their Medicare path. Belita’s oldest son was in a nursing home for 5 years before he passed, and it was then that she met a lot of people struggling with their insurance and realized their need for an insurance agent that would be there for them. Belita wants to be that person!

Belita’s journey with Bridlewood began after she received a letter from a Bridlewood Agent and called her. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. She signed up for a Medicare Advantage Plan with her. She told her “I want to be like you when I grow up”.  It was then that Belita realized that she had found a way to help people and could make a difference in people’s lives. After a couple of years, she felt she could move forward with the “desire of her heart”. Belita started her new journey in May 2024 and is learning everything she can to do a great job for the people she will be helping.

Belita went to North Clayton Sr High in Riverdale, Ga. She attended classes at Community College of Denver. She went to Employers Council (Mountain States Employers Council) to receive her education which led to a career as an HR Manager.  She has had an extensive career in HR including 11 years at First Transit, 3 years at Villas at Sunny Acres, 1 year at Allstate insurance and 1 year at Farmers insurance.

Belita was born in Charleston, South Carolina. She grew up in Atlanta and moved to Colorado 40 years ago. She resided in Thornton for 22 years and recently moved to a Senior Living community where she has been for 5 years and is loving it!

Belita was blessed with four sons. Her oldest son passed away. She has 3 grown sons making their way through life successfully. At this point, she doesn’t have any pets, but she is going to get a Beta (fish) in which she already has the setup for him she just needs to go find the perfect one! Belita enjoys crafts including making “toothbrush rugs”, sewing, going to the racetrack, traveling etc. Belita was a former member of Family Campers and RVers, she is a Thornton Citizens Police Academy Graduate and a Former member of Thornton Lions Club.
